The Club
Torpan Pojat, in short ToPo, is a basketball club founded in 1932 and based in Helsinki, Finland. ToPo has the women's team playing in national Korisliiga (top level) and the men's team in the national 1st division. The club is amongst the biggest basketball clubs in the country with numerous junior teams in different age categories as well as adults recreational teams.

History
The club was founded in 1932 as a sports club in the neighbourhood of Munkkiniemi in Helsinki. The first twenty years the club's main sports were field hockey, football, track and field, boxing and weight lifting, to name a few. Today the club is almost 100% basketball oriented, but still has a small boxing division based in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki.
